Class will meet once a week for 8 weeks. Each class is 3 hours long. The fee for each 8 week course costs $275.00 (+tax). Payment is required in full to hold a spot. We cannot offer refunds or cancellations as of two weeks prior to the first class. Class space is limited and registration will be taken on a first come first serve basis. Payments include cash, check, or credit. Note, This payment is strictly for the lesson, there is no guarantee project will be complete by end of course.

Once our Spring 2017 classes are scheduled, we will call / email with dates of classes. At this time, you may choose to make payment and hold a spot, or carry your name to the next calling list.

After 30 years of teaching upholstery classes in Rochester, they have become a HUGE hit here at Fabrics & Findings. Our classes are very hands on and like no other. We will walk you through the process of upholstery step by step. You do everything with your own hands, While following guided instructions from our skilled teachers. ​Our classes are suitable for all levels! From beginners who are just starting to persue their interest in upholstery, to more advanced who are trying to Strengthen their skills. Some of our repeats often refer to our class as their “Therapy”!




What Is Needed For Class?

There are four things students will need for their class. A project to work on, tools, fabric, and materials. You will see a list of good projects to bring on this page, along with projects that are not allowed. A list of seven basic tools will be given upon registration. While most are tools you may have around the home, some may have to be purchased. Any more advanced upholstery tools will be provided by our workshop. Fabric is an important part of upholstery! Any fabrics in our store are suitable for your project. Any materials needed, will be gone over on the first class. Upon regestration Students will receive 10% OFF any tools, fabric, or materials that students may need.
